Survival like health, Eat, drinkg,
power: recognition, feel important
Freedom: Get achievements, be independant
fun: Smiles, amuse, enjoy, be happy
Love/Belonging: be part of a group, feelings
There are four components we must take into consideration: Acting, Thinking , Feeling, and Physiologic.
All acts or behavior has a consequence.
it is important ot make contracts and create rules.



SECOND WEEK
It is much important to build the culture of good relationships.
Behaviors need to be orservable and measurable with actions (Seen/Heard)
It is necessary to use both verbal and non verbal communication in a disruptive moment.
I am going to use TRACE (Think -Reflect- Act-Control - Know how) in misbehavior moments
A desk time thinker (DTT) it is a great idea for make students reflect themselves.
Peer mediation is solving a problem by youth with youth.
It is essential to connect with disrupters and show them that we also have problems.
I need to try to send messages with out send them.
If I consider is necessaryan intervantion I MUST ask for permition.
This time we don`t talk about punishment but about CONSEQUENCES.
It is imperative to use positive discipline.
We need to treat studentwith respect and never humiliate them.
Think always they are capable to do things.
Teachers need to demonstrate constant caring, personal interest, offering encouragement, and provide them systematic opportunities, by developping social academic skills, teaching them how to listen to the others, and focus on possible solutions.
Using circles in our classes is really effective.
